Where audio is stored

Telegram bot

We don't keep a copy of the audio: the file stays in Telegram, we keep the transcript and the breakdown.

Website and API

Audio is stored in the Gecko Voice cloud so you can play and download it — until you delete the recording.

YouTube videos

The sound is kept temporarily, only while it's processed.

Mac app

Audio is saved on your Mac first and isn't lost without a network.

Deleting

Delete a recording on its page — its audio in the cloud is deleted with it. Cancelled recordings on the Mac are kept as long as set in “Cancelled recordings”, then deleted together with their audio.

Recordings and your account

Recordings belong to your account and show up on every device where you are signed in. Full details are in the Privacy policy, linked at the bottom of the website.
